MI-CO OFFERS FREE MOBILE DATA CAPTURE NEEDS ASSESSMENTS TO HOME HEALTH CARE AND HOSPICE PROVIDERS
Mi-Co, the mobile data capture software company, today announced that following its successful exhibition at the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) conference in Denver, the company is offering a free “Needs Assessment for Mobile E-Forms for OASIS” to organizations that provide home health and hospice care.
To apply for the free assessment, healthcare providers may contact Mi-Co through the Mi-Co Web site or by calling (919) 485-4819 x1617. Eligible companies must currently be submitting claims to Medicare for reimbursement and have 20 or more mobile caregivers who are required to complete OASIS forms at offsite locations.

Children's Hospital Boston to Present at Mi-Co User Day on Efficiently Capturing Audiological Patient Data
Research Triangle Park, NC and Boston, MA April 4, 2007. Mi-Co, the mobile data capture company announced today that Brian Fligor, Sc.D., and Rebecca Fleisch Cordeiro, M.Ed., will be representing Children's Hospital Boston at the Mi-Co User Days being held at the Hilton of Research Triangle Park, NC being held on April 24.
"Mi-Co User Day provides a great venue to share experiences with other Mi-Forms users both within and outside the healthcare industry," said Dr. Fligor. "We are hoping this will be the first of many opportunities to participate."
"Staff at Children's have been highly innovative in implementing their mobile data capture project. For example, they are linking the Vyasis GSI 1761 audiometer (where audiologic data are initially captured) to Fujitsu Tablet PCs with Mi-Forms and importing and integrating the data" said Adam Duggan, Mi-Co Director of Software & Services. Duggan has been directly involved with Fligor and Fleisch Cordeiro as they pilot integration of the Mi-Forms into the clinical routine of the Diagnostic Audiology Program at the hospital.
